Jungle
My work consists in using digital photographs that I have taken throughout many years. Most of them waiting patiently to be used in a final image.
The process starts by observing the way we live, the way cities grow as they accept more people each year, the way nature lives with us. All of these observations combined create an image that I work on for different periods of time.
My latest images were made in quarantine. We all observed how animals arrived to different cities without fear.
To produce the images that you can see on my page I used photos of animals that I captured five years ago at the Museum of Natural History in New York City, combining them with other places. Most of the time I combined up to 10 or more images including drawings of people in a cartoonish way; as we all know the real jungle is inside our cities where the most dangerous animal lives and work.
